The Verona Card is a city pass, which will give you included admission to several different museums and attractions throughout Verona. It also provides discounts for attractions that are not included in the pass.

How much does it cost?

The Verona Card costs €20 for a 24 hour pass, and €25 for a 48 hour pass.

The card is activated at the first place you use it and lasts for either 24 or 48 hours. This means that if you visit one attraction at 3pm, you would get entrance until 3pm the next day with the 24 hour pass.

Free Public Transportation

The Verona Card gives you free access to public transportation in Verona while the card is valid.

This perk can be used for unlimited travel within the 24 or 48 hour card validity on the Verona ATV busses that travel throughout the city. It is important to note that the public transportation is only for the Verona area and does not include the Areobus airport shuttle or bus services to other towns such as Lake Garda.

• If you are visiting on a major holiday such as Christmas Day (December 25th), New Years Day (January 1st), Easter Sunday (Typically in April)
• If you are visiting with children, you may want to consider only buying the pass for the adults as children typically receive reduced or free admission at many attractions
• If you plan to visit Verona but do not plan to visit more than 1 or 2 attractions total

Yes, you can absolutely save money by purchasing the Verona Card. In fact, in my opinion the Verona Card has one of the best values as far as city passes go.

My Review of Using the Verona Card

We had a great experience using the Verona Card and were able to save €26.

We had the 24 hour card option and visited the following places in 1 day in Verona. Since we had great weather during our visit we decided to walk around vs taking the included public transport. If you plan to see more or use public transport, you will save more.

Attractions we visited for free using our 24 hour Verona Card:
-Juliet’s House (€6 value per person)
-Verona Arena (€10 value per person)
-Castelvecchio Museum (€6 value per person)
-Museo Archeologico al Teatro Romano (€5 value per person)
-Torre dei Lamberti (€6 value person)
So, in total for 2 people we saved €26 using the Verona Card

So, Is the Verona Card Worth it?

If you plan to visit at least 3 attractions in Verona, the Verona Card is totally worth it. The more places you visit in Verona, the more you will save. As many of the museums in Verona are rather small, you can easily visit between 3-5 attractions in one day, making this city pass well worth it.
