I’m Amber, the creator & author of Get Lost in Wanderlust. Get Lost in Wanderlust is a travel blog that focuses on travel in Europe, from an American’s perspective. I have a Bachelors degree in history and love exploring new cultures and historical sites across Europe. My husband Dylan is the photographer for this site, and together we have spent the last several years traveling to different countries across Europe.
We have lots of experience traveling Europe – doing everything from backpacking to luxury stays. However, we’ve found that our real passion is to rent a car and explore a country in-depth, learning all about the culture, food, and finding all the hidden gems along the way!
Why I Started Get Lost in Wanderlust
I started Get Lost in Wanderlust to help others plan the perfect trip to Europe, especially with limited vacation time available.
We know the reality many Americans face of only having 2-3 weeks per year of vacation time, because we have experienced these constraints first hand. We’ve had to learn how to maximize our vacation time and plan a perfect itinerary to truly get the most out of our trips. I started this travel blog to help provide useful information, itineraries, and all the best tour options to help you have a dream trip to Europe.
I also know how intimidating it can be to travel internationally, especially to destinations that are more “off the beaten path” in Europe. Not only is the focus of Get Lost in Wanderlust to provide resources for you to know where to go in Europe and how to maximize your time there, but it is also aimed at helping you feel prepared so you can truly enjoy your vacation!
